This is my first build and I'm trying to stick to a $1000 budget for a gaming PC. Thanks to Tom's I discovered the greatness of pcpartpicker.com and eXtreme Power Supply Calculator which were a great help.
What I've been sketching so far is the following:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 Lightning
Case: Aerocool V3X - Evil Black
PSU: Corsair TX650W 80 PLUS Bronze
+ LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer
Pcpartpicker.com can wrap all that for $972, so I'm within my budget.
The questions I still have are:
1 - will this MOBO clog my GPU or interfere with the overall performance?
2- will the chosen PSU hold everything working perfectly?
I have no intentions on OC'ing anything nor a future SLI. The setup will stay like this, maybe getting extra memory sticks in the near future.
Thanks a lot for your thoughts and comments!
