my computer is not booting from HDD, it always searches for a bootable drive, however when I insert the Windows cd it wont get past the loading screen. Also it wont display with the onboard video, I was wondering which parts are broken so I can replace them

Solution
Ok so your computer cant find a drive to boot from , and you cant reload windows from the dd because it freezes .

My first guess is the RAID is broken at BIOS level . Enter the BIOS and make sure the SATA controller is configured to RAID mode, and AHCI .

If it still wont boot or load then try removing the SSD . Just power lead out will be enough
