Hi, I recently rearranged my house, and am facing a problem. Originally, my Wifi router (netgear) would be right on top of my computer, and I'd usually have little to none Internet problems with my wifi. However, I moved around my house and moved my computer, and made it so my Wifi Router is about ~10 feet away. However, now I'm getting extremely weak internet connection, to the point where there's probably 2 wifi bars on the computer at the most. I literally have to move my router across the room as far as the cable cord reaches until it's about 2.5 feet away, And I'm still getting extremely slow and weak internet. It's a desktop, and relatively new, a few years. Funny thing is, I have iPads, Phones, and video game systems that area spread out well over 25 feet away from the router, and they are getting the lightning speed internet I should be getting, however, MY computer is still getting very very weak wifi signal, unless the box is RIGHT ontop of the computer, which is no longer feasible. Please help?

at purchasing time both sender(router) and receiver's(WLAN adapter) signal transmitting and receiving power has to be kept in mind..it seems u have the same problem in this scenario your router is still ok but system's WLAN card is not good enough at receiving signals which netgear model are you using and which WLAN adapter are you using?

My Wireless card is an 802.11n Wireless LAN Card (btw I'm not very tech savvy. Just know the basics) and my router is a Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 N300 Cable Modem Router for Charter (CG3000D-100NAS)
