Hello, first time poster here. I made an account on here because I'm in a bit of a messy situation. I recently replaced my Video card, motherboard, added two slots of ram which total now to 12gb, bought a thermaltake cooling unit for my CPU which is an amd fx 8150 8core processor. the only thing that i haven't touched on my computer is my driver, power unit and dvd drive, my computer will randomly freeze in mid-game for almost any program, it wouldn't do this before but ever since i upgraded my motherboard things have been going downhill. The screen freezes are periodically every 5 minutes after i run a program/game. Any thoughts as how to fix this? I don't think it's my GPU or CPU temp, as they both have cooled down substantially since upgrading my parts listed above.

Have you made a fresh install or just plugged in your old HDD and used your previous windows installation?

It's very likely then that there's a driver conflict issue going on, usually is best to make a fresh install but if you want to avoid that try uninstalling every device in the device manager, restart and then install the appropriate drivers.

Even if you manage to install them all, there will remain the chance that conflicts will still happen due to some files that will remain in your OS installation.
