hi all, simple question really, i am trying to plug in my new seasonic platinum 860 v2 and the labeling on the psu is odd, for the 24 pin the side that goes into the psu has two pieces, one that's twenty pin, the other is like ten pin or something, bit lost! also there is two spots for cpu does it matter what one i connect to? thanks, oh and i have a sabertooth Z77 board if that makes any difference.

Solution
All you need for the board is the 24 pin , and 1 of the 8 pins for the cpu power.

1 x EPS12V / ATX12V 4+4 Pin Connector < And one of the 8 pins.
1 x EPS12V 8 Pin Connector

You can use the 4+4 or the 8 it's up to you

One is for your 8 pin cpu power the other is for your 24 pin board power.

1 x 20+4 Pin Main Power Connector < Use this one
1 x EPS12V / ATX12V 4+4 Pin Connector < And one of the 8 pins.
1 x EPS12V 8 Pin Connector

6 x PCI-E 6+2 Pin
10 x SATA
5 x Peripheral
1 x FDD(Y-adapter)

so one side is a non breakaway 24 pin the other is 20+10 so am i right to assume the solid 24 pin goes to the mobo, and the other side with the breakaway goes to the psu, can i leave the little bit off or do i plug that into the cpu port on the psu? there is to cpu ports one top and one bottom.

ok i think i figured it out, my cpu 8 pin was plugged in it's not at all connected to the 24 pin, there was two ports top and bottom that both said motherboard (m/b) so the 24 pin split on psu side to plug in both ports. sound right?
