Is the AMD Six-Core FX-6300 Vishera Processorwith NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 graphics good for gaming?

Is the AMD Six-Core FX-6300 Vishera Processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 graphics good for gaming? I want to make sure I am getting a good processor because I am currently computer shopping.

The fx-6300 is a great choice for budget gaming. However I would recommend a more expensive card, but it will still be able to play games at medium settings.

It's good for your wallet if you need save money, as you can't "$wing" an i5-3570K.
But that's true of any AMD CPU. Ah, you put six-core in the title:)  Too bad it's just the smart marketing department at AMD. She's just an inexpensive three-module, shared resource design.

It's not that you need to increase the CPU, moving from 6300 to 8120. It's that you need a better GPU/Video card. 650 to 660TI or 7970/270. The 6300 is an ok budget CPU. But the 650 isn't going to be maxing out many games at 1080.

I'm sorry, I was watching something so I missed a word. Your 650 will play games at medium but I recommend getting a better video card. Your cpu is fine
