It's just it has a bunch of stuff in it like PC3 and ECC I don't get, you def sure this will work?

I would say NO, as would and does Asus...not many PC type mobos support ECC DRAM and the SB is one of them - In other words - NO the Sabertooth DOES NOT SUPPORT ECC DRAM -

Best not to post when you have no idea what you are saying - at least check things before these type answers - you obviously don't know DRAM or mobos

and yet you tell someone DDR3 is DDR3 and it's fine fine to use ECC DRAM on a mobo that STATES it DOESN'T support ECC DRAM?

Apparently all the years in school were wasted, and to be quite honest and open - No I don't have a degree, though can say My oldest son has a degree in CS (among other things) and while attending college quite often corrected his Professors when they were wrong, and I became friends with those Profs who still contact me on techie issues.....

The whole purpose of school is to learn things, not just get a piece of paper and then wave it around - if you don't learn, then all that time and money is just wasted as people that do know (here computers) will point out the facts to you
