When I turn on my computer, the motherboard beeps indicate that the graphic card is not installed properly or is faulty. I have tested the card in another computer and it worked fine. I have also tried two different power supplies, one that has been working fine, and another that is brand new. Same issue with both. At this point should I just conclude that the motherboard is faulty, or am I missing something else?

Thanks

Could be a problem with the PCIe slot or another part of the MB. Is there more than one PCIe slot. You might try another slot.

You could try updating the BIOS to the latest version and see if that helps. What is the GPU that you cannot get to work in that MB? Might not be compatible. Was it ever working in that MB?

The MB has an old X16 slot. Does not even say 1.0 or 2.0 version, much less the newer 3.0 version.

geforce gtx560 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I've had the GPU since sometime in 2011, and it has up to now worked great with the motherboard. To the best of my knowledge my BIOS are up to date since I seem to remember updating them a year or so ago. I am unable to check however because the motherboard wont Post, just the endless beeping indicating an issue with the GPU.

Probably time to upgrade to a newer MB.

Alright that's what I had figured, but wanted some extra input before starting down the rabbit hole of buying new parts. Thanks for the help!
