I need help before I go bald! Please :)

Same drive to same drive, same direction, results are eSATA @ 90 MB/s, USB3 at 36 MB/s. Does anyone know why?

Win7 Ult. i7-3770k 3.5GHz. 64 bit. Asus P8Z77-V Mobo. WD Green 6GB/s drives, one in Vantec NST-380SU3 enclosure (USB3/eSATA), one internal.

Sometimes I get 100-110 MB/s from USB3, sometimes in the 30's. Seems to change at reboot. Same port, same directions, same everything except time of day.

I see a lot of posts on maximizing USB3 to 140 from 110... how do we get to 110?

I am mostly transferring flv's and cr2's (Movies @ 200MB to 5GB and Canon RAW @ 12-25MB each).

Any help super appreciated!!
