I am looking to put together a gaming desktop... the system will be used for 99% Counterstrike 1.6

I do take my gameplay very seriously and sometimes go for stretches of 100+ per week for months on end.....so I need a system that will play the game flawlessly...

I need to achieve 100fps at all times

I am looking for something with an Intel I5 and something that would work well with the ASUS VG248QE gaming monitor.

Parts not required in build cost: keyboard, mouse, monitor, or speakers

Budget range around $800, give or take with OS. ( I am in the USA )

The following were a few suggestions, can you guys help me pick out the best option or help me build a different configuration? Looking to buy ASAP - so any help is appreciated!

Bringing back the counterstrike! Good man
Ok so with your cpu if your overclocking stick with the 4670k as its specifically unlocked for that. If not save your self the dollars and get the non k version.
The cpu cooler isn't necessarily needed if your not overclocking as Intel stock fans are suffice so you can save a bit more there.
Once again, if your thinking about overclocking and or having two Geforce cards in SLI you will need to go for a z87 motherboard, if not the H87 is a awesome choice. For motherboards you can never go wrong with an asus or gigabyte.
For gaming 8gb of ram is all that you need, but make sure is dual channel, meaning it has two sticks of 4gb. As for the manufacturer G skill of corsair shouldn't let you down.
Storage wise, to be honest there is little difference between performance of HHD's whatever one takes your fancy. Seagate barracuda is usually my first preference.
Ok, the big one. The video card I really like the EVGA Geforce GTX 760, although I am more of a AMD kinda guy. I would recommend a Radeon HD 7950 card if your not set on that EVGA card.
The power supply is one of those things you can't spend cheap out on, bad ones have been known to destroy entire systems. Corsair, EVGA, XFX, Seasonic any one of these manufacturers would be fine.

SuctionDrop, can you piece me together one with partspicker.com? And also include what OS would be good as well? Thanks!

If I bumped up the budget $75-100 more, would I be able to add anything worth while that would help, or is this good enough to play without ever having issues? I don't mind adding a little more money if it will make my gameplay 100% flawless, thanks!
