I recently have been interested in buying a gaming PC, so i did the most research i could. I have built custom ones on websites like ibuypower and i like what i see, but i want to know is it really what i need?

On my new computer i intend on gaming a lot (minecraft, diablo3 mostly, but also games like crysis), and downloading movies. I just want something fast that never lags, and i would like to have really nice graphics. my price cap is 1300$

here is an example of what ive built so far. let me know if i need upgrading or downgrading.

Case: NZXT Source 210 Mid Tower

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4670K (4x 3.40GHz/6MB L3 Cache)

Liquid CPU Cooling System [Intel] - Standard 120mm Fan

RAM: 16 GB [8 GB x2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - G.Skill Ripjaws

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 - 2GB - Single Card

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 -- 2x PCIe 3.0 x16, 4x USB 3.0, 6x SATA-III 6Gb/s

Power Supply: 600 Watt - Standard

Primary Hard Drive: 2 TB HARD DRIVE -- 64M Cache, 7200rpm, 6.0Gb/s - Single Drive

Optical Drive: 24x Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black

Flash Media Reader /writer

Sound Card: 3D Premium Surround Sound on board

Network Card: Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100)

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium + Office Starter 2010 (Includes basic versions of Word and Excel) - 64-Bit

Should i be getting a better video card?
Is my PSU a good wattage?
And last question, is it worth it to get 2133mhz ram instead of 1600?

In the future you are going to want a better GPU/Video Card. At least for games like Crysis and Battlefield. The PSU will be fine. 600W is enough for that build. For the RAM. No. 1600Mhz RAM is fine. May as well save some money. I would just get a better GPU either now or in a year or two for demanding games. The 7870 will hold its own for now tho.

All in all. Its a fine build. It will do what you want with good looking visuals in all games.

R9 280X or GTX770 as GPU!
Standard PSU from them is crap but 600watts is fine find one in that size from a known quality manufacturer; Corsair, Antec, Seasonic and XFX few brands that come to mind. Ram at 1600 is fine and not a noticeable difference between the two.
