Hello, I have a sony dslr A200 it was working fine until I pulled out the sandisk ultra 11 compact flash to transfer photos onto Mac and the Mac did not register the card at all. I pulled it out and had a look and it looks like two of the pins on the bottom of card are a bit damaged. So I bought a new card put in the sony and the sony does not turn on or do anything at all but if I take the card out and turn camera on it turns on. Can anyone enlighten me what the problem may be?

Check your SONY manual on the type of card. Either A) you have the wrong type of card (the DSLR only reads 16GB cards and you got a 32GB card) or B) you broke the pins in the DSLR for the card reader and causing it to 'short' or 'damage' the DSLR everytime you put the card in. IF B) then you need to talk to the store you bought it from (very doubtful on how this will turn out) or use your warranty (it is under warranty isn't it) card that was included and call SONY for support.
