What is the best cpu for the r9 280x? I will be buying either the fx6300, fx6350, or fx8320. If possible, I would like to buy fx6300, the cheapest one, but I am afraid to buy it because it might bottleneck the r9 280x....

None of these 6 cores will bottleneck any CPU. You would have to have like a Athlon ii x2 or a Core 2 duo to get bottleneck. Even a newish dual core can handle some good cards. You have nothing to worry about, i would go into more detail but there is just no reason, since this is such a simple answer. I've done a lot of hours of research about bottlenecking since i have a 1st gen i5 dual core.

Here is a vid about bottlenecking.

For a single gpu setup, none of those cpus mentioned will bottleneck a 280x. It's when you want to crossfire that you MAY run into some issues with the FX 6300 and 6350.
