EON 3G Dongle is not working on all PCs

I am having EON 3G DONGLE. This device is running well with my dual core, 2GB ram Windows 7 with different networks. But my friends are not able to run it on P4 Windows XP and dual core with Windows 7 with any network we tried. Customer care says that every thing is fine and really it looks fine when i use with my machine. But what happens when tried on other machines?

You almost always must load a driver for broadband dongles. Be nice when they standardize these so they can be like usb drives and just work.
Some dongles appear to be read only disk and have the drivers on them...otherwise you will need to download them from the ISP site. Do not use generic ones even the same exact hardware running from 2 different ISP can have different drivers..mostly because the ISP are being jerks.

It is having drivers in it. And the device is working in my system with the drivers it is having.




Only problem is that it is not running with the old configuration systems like celeron, P3 or P4.
I am not sure but may be this is the reason.
