Cannot use integrated intel graphics

After recently removing a faulty Gigabyte 7970 I assumed my integrated graphics would come back on, except it hasnt, cant be found under device manager etc. (i5 3570k)

So you don't have a graphics card installed but your display works?

I cannot run any 3d applications and it isnt recognizing the integrated GPU....

What motherboard do you have? Often there are settings in the BIOS that are automatically disabled once a discrete GPU is detected. Look for something related to IGP.

I have, nothing seemingly related, I have uninstalled my AMD drivers aswell.

Just for reference, what motherboard is it? Those settings can be hidden pretty deep.

In your BIOS, go to Advanced > System Agent Configuration > Graphics Condiguration.

Primary display should be set to auto. If it is, try setting it to IGPU and reboot. If that fails, try setting the Initiate IGPU option to enabled, under the same menu.

Ok i was able to change the primary display but i could not set initiate iGPU to enabled as there was no option.

Problem is solved just had to update Intel drivers.
