what is this HDDRECOVERY used in my toshiba satelite c850 laptop it occupies 12gb of space how to format it?????

It contains the operating system and program files required to restore your hard drive to its original factory state. If you decide that you don't want that feature, you can delete the partition when reinstalling windows.
