This is my first amd build so excuse me if this is a rookie question.
I'm planning a htpc build and so far I have the cpu (a10-5800k) and the case (node 304). I'm not planning on using the stock cooler and my motherboard choices are basically limited to these two.

gigabyte a88x

asrock a88x

So the cpu cooler brackets are on different axes for each motherboard. (horizontally for asrock, vertical for gigabyte)
My question is, does this affect the orientation of the cpu cooler? I'm planning to buy a cooler with a front to back airflow as opposed to downdraft and I would ideally like it to exhaust out of the back of the case. I'm looking at a beefy heatsink such as the noctua d14 or similar phanteks, maybe the dark rock pro 2. If it does affect the orientation, which motherboard would allow me to orient the cooler to my needs?

I put a Cooler Master TX3 on my fm2+ A88x(A10-6800k). You can mount it either way. I mounted mine blowing out the back, but it would be fine to mount it blowing up it you have a vent up there or a fan exhausting out.
