My take is, if you are going to get a bigger psu for future upgrades, you're going to want a PSU more in the likes of the 850W or so, as a 750W isn't enough to CF two 280x cards. For one card, the 620W is enough. For saving on the power bill, I've heard both sides. Some say it saves money per month, others say it would take years to get your money back, it saves that little. I'm too lazy to do the math right now. Little Jack Daniels in the veins!

do you currently have this PSU? or you are planning on buying it?
it is enough if you have it already, but if you want to buy it, i would recommend a HX750W, the PSU is more efficient around 50% load (saving on the electricity bill), and it have some headroom for future updates.

Yes the corsair hx650 v2 is more than enough for your card.

the card requires about 24 amps from the 12v rail and the PSU has 54 amps leaving more than enough for the rest of your system.

there was an article on hardware secrets, i think this was the link but somehow i cannot access the anything on that site now o_O
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Everything-You-Need-to-Know-About-Power-Supplies/181/14
in this article, i saw a significant difference in electricity bill regarding the efficiency of the PSU, especially for the PCs that are on most of the day.
750W vs 850W? i believe 750W is enough if biught from a top quality manufacturer, and 850W is generally a safer position.
