Hi Guys,

Hoping someone may be able to help, I have been searching the net to try and find and make sense of it all but in doing so find myself only more confused...

I would like a new larger monitor, 27" seems to be the standard. I would like it to be 120hz for games and would like to be able to watch movies in 3D. SBS movies. Also the ability to run some games in stereoscopic 3D, like tomb raider would be nice.

It seems as I choose to use AMD for my graphics (2 x 7970) that my options are really limited... They have some recommended monitors listed on their site but they are either discontinued or £600+ which is just crazy. ( http://support.amd.com/en-us/recommended/hd3d-displays ).

I am not sure whether those monitors are exactly what I am after though as they come with active shutter glasses and the 3D I was after (like the TV's now days), does not require active glasses.

If I were to move over to the dark side and use NVIDIA (will never happen!) it seems I would have plenty of options but then that is still using Active shutter glasses which is not what i am looking for...

So that is about where I am, I cant seem to find any simple or straight answers on this and fail to believe you cant just buy a simple 120hz 3D monitor!?

If not then it would mean possibly considering going down the TV route but then the quality, response time and refresh rate. as i understand it, just wont be there when it comes to gaming?

All advice appreciated on this as i am a bit lost here...
