Hi my MoBo has an onboard video display so obviously I don't need a video card. The problem is if I pull out the GPU my PC only powers on for a second or two then shuts off.
Hello... Is your IGT enabled and set to boot first from it? Are you plugged into your motherboard video connector?... is your monitor set for the cable input you are using? Depending on your IGT, A video card will give you much better performance.

The reason I want to skip the GPU is because the PC was recently cleaned with DBAN and I am not getting a signal from the GPU to the monitor via a dvi cable. I want to use the Mobo's vga output instead with the hopes of getting a signal. I can't get to the BIOS (or if I am I can't see anything lol )so I can't make the Mobo's video boot first.
