I have two displays and an HDMI receiver connected to my GPU. For some reason a can't get a extended desktop and my audio going at the same time. When I enable the second display my HDMI receiver gets disabled since it's detecting the audio receiver as a display. I have no clue how to enable all of them at the same time.

Questions:-
Does your motherboards onboard audio have a digital output? (optical and/or coaxial)
Does your receiver have a digital audio input? (hopefully to match above)

Yes it does, but here's the problem with that. I can't output 5.1 channels through my motherboards optical output. For some reason it doesn't support it.

I would try it again while watching a movie or playing a game that does support 5.1. My own system does channel 5.1 but only when the source provides it.
