hi I am using a lenovo thinkpack running windows 7 pro and my system is set to run chkdsk every once and a while when i restart it. today it did it and it encountered a lot of errors it fixied, now normally this does not concern me but there were 3 things that jumped out at me this time, the first being that almost all the errors were in Index I$30 and i am wondering if that's normal, second for some reason it decided to run chdsk again and found even more errors in the same index and third that near the end i caught a glance at some error message that had something to do with bitspread and something that said it had been fixed. i just want to know if any of these are cause for concern thanks.

Sometimes chkdsk needs to run a few times to further fix additional errors. As long as there are no viruses and your HDD is free of bad sectors, then it should be fine.
Run the HDD's diagnostic tool to further check the status of your drive, it may give additional info on the drive's health.
Download the tool from your HDD's website

It's normal, just like chkdsk do it's job.
After it's done look at KB in bad sectors. If it says 0, then your fine if not. then start backing up your data.
Always backup regularly

Also some virus may affect the outcome of chkdsk, so run some virus scan first and then run chkdsk.
