So I've got a Dell Vostro 220S (slim tower) which I was using at work that I'm now using at home. It's running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and the PSU is 250watt. I'm mainly just looking for a card so I can have dual extended monitors, but I'm having difficulty determining whether or not a card will fit in my case. Could anyone please recommend a card(s) for me? My budget is $100 but around $50 would be ideal.

Solution
Your edit is correct; the first is low profile, and would fit. Its cooler does not make the card wider than the single slot. AMD may recommend a 400W PSU for it, but not to worry, yours will be fine. That recommendation attempts to account for all the liar-labeled junk out there that is not good for what's on the label.
Your motherboard BIOS should have a setting to allow the card and motherboard to each run a monitor. Otherwise, if one of the monitors can use a HDMI or DisplayPort cable, you can connect both of them to this card.

Those you've recommended will fit in my slim tower and will allow dual extended monitors?

Also, I've always wondered, when choosing a graphics card how do I narrow it down from all the different makers? There are so many makers of the same card that it makes it 100x harder to choose one.

A low-profile card should fit in your tower. There are other low-profile HD7750 models, however most of them are more than one slot wide due to their coolers, so they might not fit.
Differences usually come down to the quality of the cooler, length of warranty, and overall reputation of the company.

So what the heck are the differences between these two?

And you say that it might not fit because of their coolers? Well these cards both have a fan on them.. Does that mean they would not fit?

-edit:
Oh wait.. One is low profile and the other is not, right?

-edit2:
in order to run dual monitors, would I hook up one monitor to the card and the other to the onboard vga plug?

Okay, so.. I ordered the graphics card, have it installed, and I have one monitor running from the graphics card socket. Now, is there a way to setup dual monitors with my other monitor plugged into the motherboard vga socket?

The main purpose I got this graphics card was so I could setup dual monitors and now I can't even figure out how to do it.
