Traffic Monitoring on a SMCD3DNV router?

Solution
There are lots of programs you can load on a PC. Even the basic firewall that is built into windows will log some things....depends how fancy you want. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of is K9 but this is really software designed to prevent the kids from doing bad things but it has a great filter category list and you can set it to only log rather than block. Maybe its overkill for what you need but it is free.
I am going to bet the answer is you can't. I don't know that router so maybe it is the rare one that supports this. The key reason no router has this feature is that it has no place to save the data. Some you can see what is open at a particular instant but where would it put historic data.

The closest you are going to get to your requirement is if the router can run some form of netflow exporter. The only one I know for sure can are routers you can load dd-wrt firmware on. But this is only half the problem. You now need a server to collect the data and produce the reports. You can get free software if you are dedicated enough to read and set it up but you still must leave a machine running 24x7.

Of course there are firewalls that are basically PC and have hard drives that can do this but again it is another device you must have.

That is what I was beginning to realize.... Is there no plug in key logger type thing?
