I can't remember the exact model number, but I know for a fact that this is an 8 gig dual ddr3 1600mhz Mushkin Blackline memory. Rated to run 1600mhz @ 1.65 volts. ATM though, on my 4770k/asus maximus 6 motherboard; It is running auto @ 1333mhz.

I am wondering if these memory sticks can do 1600mhz BUT with only 1.5volts. I don't want to increase the volts beyond intel's specs. Will it be stable if I set it to 1600mhz @ 1.5 volts? I won't even touch the other ram timings/settings or I am willing to keep them loose a bit.

Can try it, wouldn't count on it, I won't touch DRAM 1866 and under that requires 1.65, even if they were performance stick which the Blackline aren't those are basic 1600/9 entry level...1.65 can be indicative of them using weak memory ICs (especially when you see over 85% of 1600 DRAM is 1.5 or less

Well I got these a while ago, & they are meant for ocing. The models I have can go way beyond 1600mhz without problem. I got these around the time when 2600k sandy cpu was somewhat new. So back then, it was fast. I just don't know if I will have to worry about crashes/bsod/instability if I put them at 1600mhz @ 1.5 volts though.
