Hi! guys im just wondering whats the difference between FX series, A series, Athlon series, and Phenom series? Also what's best for gaming for those series.

How do you determine if this (AMD or Intel) Cpu is bottlenecking a (Nvidia or Radeon) GPU and vice versa is there an application?

Lastly, any opinion on what i should change for my rig for the future use?

CPU: i3 2100
MOBO: Asus P8H61-M LE
GPU: PC HD 7850
RAM: Kingston 4g ddr3 1333mhz

Keep the GPU, everything else needs to go in the circular file..

ok im thinking of getting the fx 6300 what mobo can be good for it im still having problems on what is compatible with it?

I got a bit of insight for intel my i3 has a llga of 1155 and MOBO with that socket is applicable for it.

Can you give me a rundown for amd? also i have read some articles that amd CPU's should be bought with an aftermarket heatsink is that true?
