Best GPU for i5-3570?

Hi, I'm working on a new system and I'm curious to know what GPU complements the i5-3570. I was considering the GTX 670, but I heard the GTX 7XX series are cheaper if not the same price and significantly better, then one raised the issue of the R9 280X being the new go-to card. Would anyone care to make recommendations? I'm seeking to play games such as CS:GO, League of Legends, Blade and Soul, and other titles that will be MMORPG based.

All good, I personally would go for the 280X, it is a 7970 revamped which is a pretty damn good card, I have the 7950 and I have been able to max out bf4 at 1080 with all settings on

Thanks for your answer. I'm willing to spend about $300 on a graphics card, obviously less if possible or more if the gap in performance is significantly higher. However, please don't let the games I listed be a means of selecting a card - I will be playing more demanding titles so lets assume that I will need some good hardware.

Same for my 7970. It's a overclocking beast. I run from 1185 to 1225MHz on core while gaming and 1260+ while benching. I go from a low 500MH/s while mining to 730MH/s+.
