Have a program that is old but works since 1999 lots of data and it is no longer sold, been running it successfully on a windows 7 computer, have been trying it on win 8 in a virtual mode, works,but I cannot print from it, have to send to cloud and then retieve in win 8 , cumbersome !!
use xp 16 bit program on windows 8

16 bit code support was removed in the 64 bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8. 32 bit versions will still run 16 bit code though.
