youtube will stop and buffer ALL THE TIME. i have a 150/75 connection and have zero packet loss with good speeds on all other tests. if i go full screen to normal mode it will remove all the buffered video, if i go back in the video it will remove all the buffered video so i cant even go back to watch it smoothly. I downloaded some documentaries off youtube so i could watch them properly and it took 7 hours to download as i maxed at 32kb/s for most of the download time.
this happens on chrome, maxthon, opera, and firefox

what is going on with youtube?

secondly my chrome keeps crashing. it will build itself up to 5GB of ram usage on a single tab processes with 12 or more secondary processes of "chrome.exe" and then crash. if i go to google+ and try to use hang outs i cant load the new window it opens when in a call with out closing the main google+ window behind it.

had anyone else run into this? if so what have you done to fix this?

this all started in the past 2 weeks.

I reckon that Windows has updated a graphics driver or something.

I once had a problem with RTE Player that was similar to yours; turned out that I had two Intel GMA Accelerators installed. I uninstalled the older one and all was well again.

Failing that, I would uninstall any Windows updates from a time just before the problem started.

Then I would look at Chrome. (Well, I wouldn't because I wouldn't let it within a mile of my system.)

5 GB? Come on. Even Windows isn't quite that greedy.

GET IT OFF.

I am most definitely not a Microsoft advocate but really, what is so wrong with I.E.?

Also, do you really think that Microsoft is going to 'co-operate' with other non-MS browsers by making Windows compatible with their 'security protocols'?

At least check Chrome's running processes in Task Manager - can they be ended?
