I have a friend who bought a SAPPHIRE RAD 7950 DUAL-X OC W/ BOOST and He doesnt have a PC yet. I am helping him out but since he has a low budget I cant recommend the Z87 OC versions of the mobo.

Can you provide me some recommendations of motherboards that has an LGA 1150 socket and can fully utilize the GPU and that is cheap. Prefferably around 100$ budget or even another mobo that can support Ivy Bridge if that would come in cheaper.

Thanks!

Hey a friend is using this configuration: You may try this one...Hi-Fi Z87X 3D Ver. 5.x. It supports the Intel 4th generation Core i7 and Core i5 processors in the 1150 package and has a Intel Z87 single chip architecture. Hope this configuration will help your friend.

Hope not to get into the Z87 stuff because a 100$ mobo online will cost us around 150$ here with shipping.. I was looking forward to something like z G87 or H87..

We will use it mostly for gaming. I don't prefer the OC mobos. We are both inexperienced for that though I bought the z87 pro3 a motnh ago

get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157384 this is the best i could find for you ($82).
the H87 chipset is meant for gaming with one card, where OC is not involved.

i would not suggest going for a lower class like H81 or the business class (Q87, Q85, B85), manufacturers tend to use less durable/quality components in such boards.

even if he doesn't have the money now, waiting for a while an getting this H87 Mobo is the best solution.
