Hello, I just made my account today and I don't know how all this works but I'm running out of options.

I saw a YouTube video of someone building a computer and it looked easy to do so I built one and I can get into BIOS now but I can't install Windows 7 from my CD drive. It detects my HDD and CD drive in BIOS and CD drive set to be 1st boot, HDD second, someone other things so on.

The problem is I always get this message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" or sometimes it goes into UEFI or something like that... Could it be that the CD disk won't work itself because, well because.... Help me? I never trusted the machines. Dundun DUNUNUN.
MOBO: MSI A55m-P33
CD Drive is ASUS some OEM from Newegg.

I think this is a hard drive issue. What is the HDD your are installing. Try unplugging HDD and DVD rom. Turn it on without them wait for beeps then turn it off again. Plug them back in and turn it on again.

Yes.I reset it from the BIOS, still same thing. I should mention that the message pops up even if I just turn the computer on, not press anything. I'm just going to take it to someone who knows about computers hopefully more than I do. Next week...
