I want my game to look good and great refresh rate, I see some monitors are iPS nowadays. I know apple uses iPS monitors for years now and they have amazing displays. Is this the reason why? I will be gaming 1920 x 1080. Maybe spend around 300-500
IPS has better color quality and better viewing angles, TN panels have lower input delay and typically higher refresh rates. the latter is generally whats used for "gaming" monitors but it doesnt discount that the former can be used as one as well.
Does someone with a 22" monitor compared to someone with a 27" monitor have an advantage of 5 inches of screen real estate during FPS games if the resolution is the same (1920x1080) because of the higher pixel density, therefore less mouse travel on the screen?
