Hey guys, I'm planning to build my first PC, and I'll just like some opinions on it so far, as well as a few question related to some of the parts.

Here is my current build:
Intel Core i5 4670k Quad Core LGA 1150 3.4GHz

Cooler Master Seidon 120V 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler

MSI Z87-G45 GAMING LGA 1150 Motherboard

Samsung 840 EVO Series 120GB 2.5" SATA3 Solid State Drive

Seagate 3TB Barracuda 3.5” 7200RPM SATA3 Hard Drive - ST3000DM001

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 3GB Overclock Video Card

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz Memory CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10

Zalman Z11 Plus High Performance Gaming Mid Tower Case (7 Fans total)

NZXT Sentry 2 5 25" Touch Screen LCD Fan Controller

Total Cost: $1800 (no PSU)

And here is my main questions:
1) How much power should my PSU have, and which brands do you recommend?

2) I'm unsure of which Z87 motherboard I should get with a budget of $200 - the ASRock ones I don't particularly like as half of the fan connectors are 3-pin. I also heard that MSI has bad QC.

3) Should I have air or liquid cooling for my CPU? If I was to use fan, I'd go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, which is only around $20 less.

550w or more. Buy good PSU like Rosewill, Seasonic (XFX) ,
Corsair RM.

Look Asus PRO or Gigabyte X-D3H / UD3H./ OC.

Best price / performance and reliable.

1) PCPart picker is the best for finding this out. For me, I only need 375W but I got 600W for upgradability. It's not really about how much you need, it's about upgrading in the future.

2) Everyone will hate me for saying this, but I personally don't think motherboards are as imporatant as the other components. It doesn't seem that you're on a budget, so I would just get a motherboard that has all the features you're looking for (sli or crossfire, memory support, usb 3.0, etc)

3) Again, you don't seem to be on a budget, so I would get the best possible (liquid). However, you said this is your first PC build and it's much harder to install a liquid cooling system than traditional fans.

Hope this helped!
