Yep, that beast 290x has a very high temperature threshold

77 degrees under load is a safe temperature, heck my old GTX 260 runs at 86 degrees and is still fine for the most part

I wouldn't worry about temperatures until they began reaching the mid 80s, 70 under load is a pretty excellent temperature
