installing hard drive 1tb

I have a wd green harddrive 500gb and I want to replace it with 1tb wd drive as 500gb is full but I want all my settings to be same in the new one means the software installed in c drive, my daily daily and all other contents of 500 gb . is it possible.

Just use this program, it will help us know exactly what components (CPU, MB, etc) you have on your system.

Download it , install it, then run it, then let us know the exact MB you have. I cant figure out the MB.

There's no reason to replace the 500GB drive with 1TB one, just make the 1TB for storage, and carry on with the 500GB one. The future downloads, programs, and games can go to 1TB one. And you can move some current stuffs into the large drive also.

This way you don't have to replace the 500GB drive, and can have all your settings intact.

but my pc has amd 145tm cpu with mn268 asus motherboard and 2gb ddr2 ram so many say my pc won't be able to handle more than 1tb even if I add more ram . are they right? they say just add 500 gb to 500 gb or one drive of Itb
