Hey guys I am planning on water cooling my rig.
I have bought all my components other than the WC stuff. right now I am planning on water cooling my CPU and GPU. My CPU is a 4670k and my GPU is a r9 290x. I am hoping to over clock both and get good temps.

I have decided to either go with corsair or noctua fans. The case I have is a corsair carbide air 540. It is pretty small but I have see some sweet WC builds on here with that case. I am hoping not to have to use a dremel however it does not bother me if I am gaining performance.

Anyways my question is, what is the best 240mm and 360mm rad for my setup. I can go pretty expensive and am hoping to use the rads in the future.

Cheers.

My pump decision will pretty much be based on the rads. So any suggestions would be great.

If you’re looking for performance try three radiators

It may not look cool, but performance was my main objective.

And the temps are cool as a result.

This build looks nice, but with only one radiator the performance is limited.

Still it runs good, but with the GPU clocked it gets a little warm.

The best water-cooling radiators are the Hardware Labs Black Ice Extreme ones or the EKWB XTX series. My personal preference on fans are Corsair SP 120mm ones. Don't ever get the AF ones, as you need Static Pressures to move air through radiators. For the pump, I recommend a Laing D5 and not DDC, as their circuit boards tend to get quite hot.

I can only really buy the radiator brands due to where i am buying:
Alphacool Radiators
Coolgate Radiators
Koolance Radiators
Magicool Radiators
Phobya Radiators
XSPC Radiators

out of those what are the best. I am leaning towards the alphacool rads.

I would then recommend either alphacool or XSPC radiators.

Cheers for all the help.
I was leaning towards alpha cool and xspc to begin with so that is good. I wanted to get the xspc rx series but they are not stocked at the place I am buying.

So from that my only options were the alpha cool.

I can fit a 45mm 360mm rad in the front of the case which is good. However I can only fit a 30mm rad at the top. But oh well it will have to do I guess.

If you have any other suggestions I will take them into account :)
