Sapphire HD 7770 temperatures

I have a new Sapphire HD 7770 card. Idle temperature is 40 degree centigrade
On load (Games like Hitman ABsolution, Fifa 13, Arkham Origins) maximum 84, but most of the time stays around 77- 80 degrees.
DO I have anything to worry about on this???

okay .. but its a bit noisy too .... n i haven't overclocked it at all... do you suggest a manual fan speed setting?

If you reduce the fan speed the temperature would increase but you can try and need to check the temps and don`t reduce the fan speed too much. Did you clean the GPU soon, that could be a problem or the thermal paste could need to be put again. At least that are the options that i see, not an expert btw.

My GPU is new, 2 weeks old, but thanks, I solved the problem. MY cabinet has two inbuilt fans on the side. attached to the vents of the panel cover. Those vents were covered with a sheet of sponge which was full of dust and was blocking airflow. I removed it.Now temperatures hardly goes above 65 degrees on full load.
I believe it increases the risk of dust going inside, so would have to invest some time to check and dust out the interiors time to time. Apart from that would it have any other serious implications??
