Integrated sound or gpu sound

Whats better integrated sound or gpu sound. Btw I may get a 660 ti or a raedon hd6670 2gb or 660 or 650 ti boost.

sound from the gpu will be digital but my mb has onboard with optical out not much difference between the 2. I use the hdmi cause less cables I have to mess with. It will ultimately depend on the system you are hooking it up to. I hook mine (HD5670) to a vizio 5.1 vizio soundbar when I watch movies and it sounds pretty good.
