Hi everyone. Have tried searching for some info on this but nothing I've found exactly matches what I'm wondering. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
I believe that only certain ICH7s support AHCI. Below are my controller details from device manager. Does this tell me whether this system supports AHCI?
(Notes: Can't see AHCI in BIOS; XP tells me controller drivers are fully up to date)
Any help much appreciated.
DEVICE MANAGER DETAILS:
- IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 27DF
- Intel(R) 82801GB/GR/GH (ICH7 Family) Serial ATA Storage Controller - 27CO
