Yes, I'm a noob. I want to install a new graphics card (Computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883103352). I don't know what port I have in my computer or what the power output (?) is either.

I've heard the Nvidia series works at a lower temp and power output, (?) but I'm up for anything that will run Gmod above 40 fps.

Also budget is under $200, thanks so much for the help :D

Here is a list of cards that are low profile or low profile-ready. They are sorted in order of best rating:

I have a HD 7750 1GB in a budget build (Phenom II X4 840T) sitting next to me now. At 1920x1080 it can play Crysis 3 at medium settings... and it looks beautiful. Less graphically demanding games can be played at max/near max settings.
