So i attempted to build my first PC yesterday and i had everything put together and i was so excited to flip the switch on the PSU and guess what happened?

NOTHING.

4 Hours of work. Nothing happened. I called the motherboard manufacturer and i took everything apart except the motherboard, psu, and the processor and flipped the switch. Again, nothing.

No motherboard light, no smoke, no electricity, nothing even happened.

The guy on the phone said i probably had a faulty PSU, but idk what do you guys think?

(Btw i'm probably just gonna return the mobo and psu for new ones just to be safe)

Heres my build (all from Newegg)

Case: Antec 25
Mobo: MSI 970A-G43 AMD970 950 AM3+
PSU: CORSAIR 500W CX500
CPU: FX 4130
GPU: GTX 650 ti boost OC edition
RAM: 4gx2 Ripjaws 1600 mhz

Didnt work, but i have some more info.

The 24 pin is missing a pin on the psu (16th) idk if that matters and also when i put the 24 pin into the motherboards 24 pin slot i have to force it in!
