Do I need to remove old manufacturer driver before installing NVIDIA one?

Hello,
I installed the driver from the CD that came with my MSI GPU. Later in the day, I installed the graphics drivers from the NVIDIA webpage. Did it overwrite the MSI driver or do I need to uninstall it somehow? I don't see the MSI one listed in the "remove programs" list, so I'm not sure.

Thanks!

When you got the version from online, you essentially updated the old drivers. No need to worry.

Nvidia no longer requires you do do a manual un-install of their previous driver before installing the new one. You are fine.

MSI did not actually write the driver that they supplied to you with their graphics card. While they may have modified the driver slightly, which is unlikely, the driver MSI provided you with their card originated with NVIDIA.
