Hi everyone, i'm new here and fairly new to the techy world.

I purchased a HP Pavilion 500-054 which has an AMD Quad-Core A8-5500 Accelerated Processor with AMD Radeon HD 7560D graphics, 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM, and windows 8.

I am mainly using this machine to play final fantasy xiv which recommends NVIDIA® Geforce® GTX 660 or higher, AMD Radeon™ HD 7950 or higher.

What can I upgrade my graphics card to? The game runs pretty well, but I want it to be shiny :)

Any advice on a reasonably priced upgrade that would be compatible with my box?

Thanks for your help.

Your machine only has a 300W power supply at the moment, might as well upgrade that and pick up a 660 or 7870/270x

As with all MMOs, I'd expect FF14 to be CPU intensive so your CPU will be holding you back a bit
