Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if the power supply on my desktop (300 W, about 5 years old) will be able to support a nVidia GeForce GT 630, which requires a 300W PSU Wattage.

Here is the link to the video card: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=4...

I don't have anything extra hooked up to the power supply other than what the computer already came with. Would this be a good idea, or will the video card overpower the power supply? I just don't want my computer to suddenly shut down :S

Yes you should be fine, definitely, considering you're not using SLI/Crossfire configurations.
