There is a consistency issue with a System: 16GB RAM, i7-4700HQ ASUS G750JW-SB71-CB laptop.
Sometimes the F2 key opens up BIOS to setup boot order and at other times not.
Worse is the fact that the one time I was successful and actually setup the sequence to be:
1) USB
2) CD
3) Hard disk
it worked. I was able to boot from the USB, then tested the CD and when I tried again, neither USB or CD where recognized, suggesting the BIOS setup had been lost.
Time to go after ASUS support? unless I can get some pearls of wisdom.
