After a lot of dicking around, I finally figured out that it was network adapter on my mobo that is not functioning properly. I could probably RMA my mobo, but that would mean tearing my whole rig apart, which has a custom liquid cooling loop, and a lengthy downtime as well. I would rather just purchase a separate NIC and be done with it. I am not looking to spend a whole bunch of money but I will pay for decent performance. Here are my specs if it matters;
30mb/s internet connection
ASUS P8Z77 Pro/Thunderbolt
i7-3770K @4.5ghz
16gb Corsair Vengeance
2 Corsair Force GT SSD RAID 0 / 2 WD Caviar Black RAID 1
EVGA 780 Classified
I have both PCI and PCIe slots available for use. I use this rig for mostly gaming, at least on the internet. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
