I can start my pc in safe mode and it turns on and works fine. normal mode I just get a black screen I updated my pc yesterday and it looked like it loaded the update fine. I just get a black screen. please help thank your for reading this.
specs are quad core I7 4770k. nvidia geforce gtx 670 500 gb toshiba hd 8 gb ram 700w psu asrock extreme 4 z77 I think theres something wrong with my video card or the update

If you can boot into Safe Mode, I recommend running System Restore (provided System Restore has not been disabled) and rolling your system back to a restore point prior to yesterday's update.

Provided you have made a recent backup of any personal information, another option is to boot from your Windows installation media and perform a Repair installation. Normally, this deletes the OS and reinstalls it, leaving your data in place, but there's never a guarantee you'll find your data afterward, and I always recommend you opt on the safe side.
