Can somebody tell me if the CM 212 EVO will fit in my case?
Case dimensions: 16.55" x 7.10" x 16.55"
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

heatsink dimensions: 120 x 80 x 159 mm
fan: 120x120x25 mm

Now this case came with a DIY combo and Im waiting for black friday to come to see if I can score a deal on any of the cases I have my eyes on. I want either the Corsair 200R or the NZXT Source 220, leaning more towards the 200R and will be grabbing it come black friday regardless if i score a deal or not. Worse case scenario I only pay like 50 bucks. ANYWAY, in the meantime, Im bored and want to throw my cooler on for the hell of it. Will I be able to get it on and close my case? If not, Im pretty sure itll clear everywhere besides the side panel, so if I really wanted I could install anyway and just leave my side panel off for a couple weeks couldnt I?

Unknown. The overall case is 185mm. The cooler is 159mm.
But the space behind the motherboard panel, and the CPU take up part of that 185mm.

Do some more research.

Yeah, you could leave the side panel off. If you have any pet cats, or bunnies, make sure they stay out of the way, though.

It's hard to find any information on that case. I think the only way you'll find out is to measure from the CPU to the side itself, or just try to install the cooler.

From your comment, I am assuming you already have the cooler on hand? If not, Zalman has a lot of products that are ~152-154mm tall. Thermalright's True Spirit 120M is 145mm tall.

so basically the only clearance issue would be getting the side panel back on? if so then that is no biggie i can live with it off. i cant wait to get rid of this case anyway and will be doing so asap. more than willing to let it sit without a side panel for a week or two until i purchase the new one. i went and bought the cooler and dont really want to just look at it in the box until i get a case thatll fit it so ill just throw it in for the hell of it. no animals and its in a pretty secure spot so im good there.
