Hi all, I was wondering if you guys can help me out with a choice, I want to upgrade my system which is an dell xps I have had for about 3-4 years now, the only parts I have upgraded in the past was the stock psu for a corsair tx 650m, and the videocard for a gtx 670.
my cpu its a i7 920 stock speed (which I cant overclock cuz its dell locked >.>), 1tb 5200 rpm HD, and 8gb ram at like 1033hz or something.
ok that being said, I want to perform one of this 2 options:
A) get an fx 8350 rig, new mobo that allows me to use 1600 hz ram, new HD 1.5 7200 rpm and a new case.
B) keep the i7 and same ram and everything and upgrade the gtx 670 for a r9 290x.
which option you guys think would be the best one, also if I find a good price I may get an i5 4570 or 4670 instead of the fx 8350. thanks for your opinions. bye.
