Hey guys! I am a newer member here at Tom's and have had some experience in the PC repair area. I am looking at putting together a setup for under $1600. This list does not include the gfx card and all together I will run me around $1500. But even after extensive research I am still unsure about my setup. I want this to "future-proof" me for 5 years. Also any help choosing what gfx card to get would be greatly appreciated.
Motherboard: Asus P9X79 LE motherboard.
CPU: Intel i7 4930k
RAM:Corsair vengeance 16 gig (2 x 8 gb) 1866 mhz.
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 240M liquid cooling.
HDD 1: Samsung 840 EVO series 120 gig.
HDD 2: WD Blue 1 tb 7200 RPM.
PSU: Corsair Professional series 1050 watt modular.
Case: NZXT Phantom 410.
Thank you guys and any help reviewing my setup before purchase would be great. Also I would like to know whether to go AMD or Nvidia with the graphics card. Thank you!
